They are working closely with farmers, fruit growers and dairies dedicated to the craft of producing high quality, sustainable products while respecting mother earth a long the way. In order to make sure their products travel the shortest route possible, Solhjulet prioritize domestic producers. Besides this, they work towards reducing food waste by offering “class 2” vegetables and fruits that are not as aesthetically pleasing but still tastes just as good as “class 1” products and by donating the food they are unable to sell to a non-profit organisation.
